Many of the main Florence museums and some off – the – beaten – track venues have extraordinary evening / ight opening in summer.
Florence can be very warm in July and August: extending the opening time of the museums after dusk gives people an opportunity to enjoy the Florentine heritage ander a unique light and in a less crowded environment
Florence by night opening: what museums? When?
Palazzo Vecchio current timetable (until September 30th, 2018) is: 9AM to 11PM. Shorter time on Thursday: 9AM to 2PM.
The Arnolfo Tower of Palazzo Vecchio (Torre di Arnolfo) has a shorter opening time: 9AM to 9PM, 9AM to 2PM on Thursday.
Longer opening time on Tuesday and Wednesday: 8.15AM to 10PM (but NOT on Tuesday August 14th and Wednesday 15th).
To spice the things up even more, the Uffizi Gallery added also a series of special events: “Uffizi Live” with music, ballet, theater. Until September 25th.
Longer opening time on Tuesday and Thursday: 8.15AM to 10PM. Until September 27th.
Longer opening time on Tuesday and Thursday: 10 AM to 11PM.

Cenacolo di Andrea del Sarto, Fridays until September 30th, 8PM to 11PM;
